2026 Jog-a-thon

Help our Huskies run for fun while raising money for our school!

This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. All donations big or small are appreciated. Donations help pay for:
  • Field Trips
  • Husky Hut prizes
  • Classroom supplies
  • Enrichment programs such as Science Camp
  • Books and learning resources
  • Playground equipment
  • School events such as Bingo night

The event takes place on Friday, April 17th starting at 8:15am. Families are welcome to attend and cheer on their runner(s).

We are excited to share our calendar of events for the first half of the school year!

Ruhkala Staff Appreciation

Ruhkala PTC Fundraising

Each year the PTC spends ~$18-20k to support the students and teachers of Ruhkala with a variety of expenses including, but not limited to:
  • Transportation costs for field trips
  • Enrichment programs such as VAPA, Sight Word Busters, and Science Camp
  • Teacher Appreciation Luncheons
  • Classroom supply budget for each teacher
  • School signage and Kindergarten welcome signs
  • Husky Hut prizes
  • Reading books for classrooms
  • School events such as dances, grandparents day, ice cream socials, bingo night, Halloween Haunted House, etc.

We are continually raising money to support these programs. If you have the financial means, please help us out by making a tax-deductible donation today.

​THE PTC MISSION
​The mission of the Ruhkala PTC (Parent Teacher Club) is to effectively channel the efforts and resources of Ruhkala students, teachers/staff and parents that will benefit and enrich the education of our students; to facilitate mutual communication and nurture a cohesive relationship among Ruhkala Elementary families, teachers, and students; and, to initiate, execute, raise funds and sponsor projects and programs that directly benefit Ruhkala Elementary and its surrounding community.
